Second year high school student who unabashedly loves My Melody, the cute bunny-hooded Sanrio character. As atypical as it is for a teenage boy to like such a thing on his own, it has been both a way of finding his most cherished friends who also enjoy their own preferred Sanrio mascots and reconciling their interests, and attracting some scrutiny/resistance for 'liking girl things.' However, Yuu is unapologetic and enthusiastic about what he loves, unafraid to let it be known, as he sees no shame in it. He encourages his friends in embracing their respective love for cute things, as well as supporting them in any other aspects of their lives, and backs them up when people question it, going as far as to tease or respond playfully to those who antagonize. He's otherwise popular at school, a class clown who likes to act dramatic and childish for amusement, but is as keenly thoughtful as he is protective of his friends and younger sister, and very caring for them. He will fight someone for your right to like your guilty pleasures and live comfortably in your skin. (ง •̀_•́)ง💕 (But like, not actually fight with his fists, please don't go for the face!)
